WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR HEART’S FITNESS, IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO IMPROVE

Medical and scientific research continues to present strong relations between the health and lifestyle choices we formulate early in life and the occurrence of connected health conditions in our later years. But that does not mean we’re left to probability as we grow older.

The good news; there’s plenty we can do to help it.

Older adults can still progress their heart-related outcomes with a couple small add-ons to their routines. We all recognize the nuts and bolts of eating well and avoiding smoking or drinking alcohol. But even a reasonable amount of exercise can make a difference for older people.

Normal sensible activities such as walking at a normal to quick pace is strongly connected with a condensed incidence of heart failure in seniors. A major fitness routine isn’t necessary, just simple, regular, physical activity.

Researchers left out other lifestyle factors such as smoking and diet.

Although the study didn’t exactly prove cause and effect, it’s pretty clear that heart health is in our management more than we realize at times.

Certainly, standard exercise is not an excuse to ignore the other guidelines for heart health such as watching your weight, and controlling sodium intake, But it’s good to know that it’s by no means too late to construct a change for the better.
